BB-8 or Beebee-Ate is a droid character in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Spherical with a free-moving domed head, BB-8 is portrayed by both a rod puppet and a remote-controlled robotic unit. (BB-8-Wikipedia)
Same as other spheres papercraft, BB-8 papercraft maybe difficult, especially for closing the last part. If you are new to papercrafting, you may try several times to have a better result.
You can start and end at any part, as you want. I can't tell which way easier, but pdo file may help. Open it in pepakura viewer from tamasoftware.
Paper recommended 160-200gsm. If you resize the template, use thicker paper.
