Om Nom (Cut the Rope) Papercraft

Om Nom is the main protagonist of Cut the Rope. Om Nom loves candy, so if the candy drops off-screen or gets destroyed, Om Nom will groan in disappointment and make a sad face.

In Cut the Rope,
Players must feed Om nom with candy by cutting ropes and other tools necessary.  The candy hangs by one or several ropes which the player must cut with a swipe of their finger (or mouse on the web-based version). Using various objects such as floating bubbles and bellows, the candy must also be manipulated around obstacles to get to Om Nom’s mouth.

Each level pack introduces new challenges. Levels are scored with a zero to three star rating, according to how many stars the player picked up, and a point score depending on the number of stars collected and the amount of time taken to complete the level.

Now I've done with this model. So You can make your own Om Nom.
OK here we go..

This time I tried some assembly instructions, but it doesn't mean this model is difficult. It's very easy to handle. Please pay attention to not forget to insert part 2 to head(3) first, with cut along redline.

Can he open his mouth? Yes. After you finished for part 3 and body(5), fold part 12 and glue with head and body like the picture below.

The candy! Something make Om nom crazy about, The candy is only three parts, but it's the most trouble I've met. But if you done with this one, the rests are nothing. Pay attention with this one, if you need is the perfect rounded one.

Finally, the base and the rope. Here I make the rope is more like small pipe, so you can customizing yours with real rope or something similar. You also can attach candy to the rope, or just like mine. Mine looks like finally Om Nom have the candy!

For this assembly instructions I use 210 gsm photopaper. Photopaper makes colors bright, but the paper weight, 210 gsm, of course too thick, especially for candy.

You can use any paper weight or type, but the result must be different. And It's good to use 100-200 gsm.

The pattern only in two sheets of paper.
If you get any trouble, please comment. Im glad to hear someone done with this model.

Happy crafting!
